This Cookie Policy explains how Squeezle uses cookies and similar technologies. In short: we use only the cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep the service secure. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.
This policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies let a site remember things between requests, such as the fact that you are signed in. Cookies can be "session" cookies (removed when you close your browser) or "persistent" (kept for a set period), and "first-party" (set by the site you are visiting) or "third-party" (set by another domain).
2. Cookies we use
Squeezle sets one first-party cookie, and it is strictly necessary. Without it you cannot sign in or stay signed in.

3. No analytics or advertising cookies
Squeezle does not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not embed third-party trackers on its pages. Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, no cookie consent banner is required for them under the ePrivacy rules; strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent.
4. Cookies set by our providers
Two of our providers may set their own strictly necessary cookies in specific situations:
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the application, may set essential security and performance cookies (for example to detect abusive traffic). These are used to keep the service available and secure.
- Stripe, our payment processor, may set cookies on its own hosted checkout and billing pages when you make a payment, for fraud prevention and to operate those pages. These are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie notices.

5. Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because our only cookie is strictly necessary, blocking it will prevent you from signing in and using the service. Signing out clears your session.
6. Changes to this policy
If we introduce any new cookies (for example, if we ever add optional analytics), we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first. The date of the latest change is shown in the Last updated line above.
