Give connection access
How do I give a teammate access to a connection?
Connections in Squeezle are shared across your whole organization, so there is no per-connection switch. You control what a teammate can do with connections through their role, and you can share a single query built on a connection. You need to be an owner or admin.
- In the left rail, open Admin, then Members.
- If the person is not a member yet, click Invite member, enter their Email, pick a Role, and send the invite.
- For an existing member, set their Role in the row. The role decides what
they can do with every connection:
- Editor can write and run queries against any connection.
- Runner can run queries other people saved and shared, by filling in values.
- Viewer can read queries and results without running them.
- To limit which columns a person can pull, open their settings with the gear icon and set their Column sensitivity level.
- To let one teammate run a single query on a connection without giving broader access, open that query, use Share, and add the person with Can view & run.
For roles and what each one can do, see the Overview guide. For sharing a saved query, see the Folders and sharing guide.
